  • Andy ...1 in 100

Andy's Subaru is no ordinary Subaru, in-fact it's 1 of only 100 left in the world, and he's spent over £6K on it! For his hard work he's won the Meguiars shining star in 2006 & 2007. Six years on and he's still hard at work having now replaced around 95% of all the fastners with stainless steel versions.

Andy works on this car in his sleep and has even taken parts to bed to work on them! Has our sleeping beauty, Andy, worked hard enough to get your vote?

  • Antony ...passionate about Passats

Antony made our final 10 last year but missed out on the main title to Jim. His passion for Passats has continued having now sold a Skoda Octavia VRS 240bhp in order to fund his 6th Passat.

Antony is so dedicated to his Passats that he has organised a national show for fellow owners which was organised through the UK Passats forum that he runs! Should Antony's Passat passion be awarded the top prize this time around?

  • Becky …not just autosessive but ‘herbisessive’!

Becky’s dream ever since she was 5 years old was to own her very own Herbie. This dream came true when three years ago she bought a tatty cream beetle with only two gears that wouldn't start. From that moment on she’s been in love, restoring the beetle to its former glory, adding the famous stripes and polishing Herbie each week.

Herbie takes Becky under his own steam to displays and shows around the UK as well as transporting the kids on the daily school run. Herbie has his own "bedroom" in the garage, with accompanying posters and pictures.

Becky says she’s not just autosessive, she’s Herbisessive!! Do you believe Becky is Britain's best autosessive?

  • Chris ...self proclaimed VW Obsessed Freak!

Chris is a self proclaimed VW obsessed freak. With VW tattoos covering the vast majority of his body and VOLKSWAGEN tattooed across his 10 toes we found it hard to disagree! Chris owns a grand total of 7 VWs, 3 of which are very rare; a 1968 VW Country Buggy, a 1979 VW Iltis and a 1981 Gurgel X12. His daughter was named so that her middle initials spell VW, his honeymoon involved visiting the VW factory in Wolfsburg and Chris attends between 30-40 VW events each year including one which he organises to raise funds for a charity.

You’d certainly know where Chris lives as he has a 10ft wide VW symbol in block paving on his driveway! You decide whether Chris is full on obsessive or a purist autosessive?

  • Darran ...devoted to a classic

Darran has been mad about cars since he was very young with a passion for classic minis. At the age of 14 after saving up £1000 his search for his dream car began. Unable to afford a 60’s mini his prayers for a classic were answered when his uncle came across a 1970s Reliant Scimitar SE5, which had been lying in a garage for 30 years. Darran immediately fell in love with the big essex v6 with it’s twin headlights and separate rear seats.

Working with his Dad, Darran has rebuilt the engine and suspension, completed the chassis work, and restored the wheels, added new brakes, new s/s exhausts and a fuel tank. Darran, now 18 and a keen motorsport photographer has started to train as a mechanic! Is Darran devoted enough to determine your vote?

  • Emilio ...Levin his modifications?

When Emilio purchased this rare 1.6 20V super fast Toyota Levin, one of only around 8 in the UK, the dealer declined to mention the fact that it had been in a bad collision. Fortunately Emilio’s passion is modifications and he loves to make his cars stand out from the standard versions.

With the help and support of other Levin owners he’s been able to save-up and source the expensive rare parts required to restore the car and make it presentable for shows. He’s replaced the rear shocks, callipers rear disc brakes, handbrake cable and overhauled the bodywork with carbon fibre dash, hood and spoiler to make this Levin look modern and stunning? Does Emilio’s madness for mods motivate your vote?

  • Graham ...the story of a Sunbeam

Graham bought this Stiletto Sunbeam back in the 80’s to do road rallying with his girlfriend. When the time came to settle down and get married the need for a new house together forced the sale of the car, in order to raise funds for their life together. 22 years on Graham decided to find out what happened to his old car. He tracked it down to a damp barn in South Wales where time had not been kind to the old girl. In-fact when he opened the driver’s door the car flexed in half where the floor had rotted away.

Two years later Graham is undertaking a full scale rebuilding project and aims to give the car to his daughter so that she can have as much fun in her as her Mum & Dad did! Is the heart warming story of this Stiletto Sunbeam enough to win your vote?

  • Jonty ...not everyone has a Ferrari in their living room!

Having finally managed to purchase his dream car, a Ferrari, Jonty wanted to be able to look at it from the outside when he wasn't driving it. This however would mean sitting in a cold damp and dull garage alone, as his wife would never want to sit out there with him. He then came up with a ingenious plan that involved him spending 2 months working single handedly to convert his garage into a comfortable modern style living room. Now his wife can sit in comfort watching the TV or looking at the garden, whilst Jonty can sit beside her on the sofa looking at his dream car!

Does Jonty's appreciation of real beauty get your vote?

  • Rachel ...addicted to a Firebird

Rachel a 43 year HGV driver has a 25 year long addiction for her 1976 Pontiac Firebird. When she bought it for £600 it was an insurance write off with an engine compartment badly damaged by fire. It’s only been in the last 3 years that the Firebird has been on the road following years of devoted restoration.

Rachel has been through a lot and has had to learn many new skills in order to keep her dream alive, but she says that all the work has been well worth it. Her passion for this Firebird has never died and it still takes her breath away every time she drives it. Does Rachel’s relentless commitment get your vote?

  • Richard …providing dream rides

Richard’s obsession with all things Capri was rekindled in 2004 when he came across a D100 VOO garaged and under a dust sheet. He obtained her for just £3000, far less than she was worth, as he promised to look after her and over the following five years she was awarded a number of trophies, cups and plaques.

In 2009 Richard wanted a change and began to use the Capri to raise money for Children's Charities. So far his Capri has helped him raise in excess of £1,700. Richard has used the Capri to help out at the Autosessive charity dream ride event at Aintree which he says is the most thought provoking event that he’s ever done. He’s even taken the car to be a centre piece at an annual charity ball.

Richard spends countless hours in the garage keeping the car in pristine condition so that she can be continued to be enjoyed not only by Richard but also by all those others that she has helped. Does Richards’s charitable passion get your vote?
